It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Nan, Mother, Sister, and Aunty – Taulapapa Telesia Va'a. Born on 19 December 1942, she peacefully departed this world on 20 September 2025 at her Castlerea Street home, surrounded by her 'Aiga. Telesia was the heart and foundation of our family – the strongest woman we know. Her selflessness, faith, and generosity shaped generations, and her legacy will continue to live on in all whose lives she touched. Dearly loved wife of Lalau Leo Va'a. Loved mother and mother in law of Chris and Michael, Reo and Diana, Petronella and Iva, Leonardo (dec), Earl and Ngaire. Loved Nan of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As we grieve this immense loss, we also celebrate a life well lived and a soul who has now found eternal rest. We kindly ask for your prayers and love during this time as we come together to honour her memory.
