Thomas Maya Obituary
Thomas R. Maya, of Levittown, passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 91. He was the father of Joseph Maya and his wife Katherine, Eileen Appenzeller and her husband Stephen, Edward Maya, Ida Ortlip and her husband Matthew, Sr., and Margaret Maya and her fiance, John Petrie. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret A. (Francks) Maya; his son, James Maya, and his parents, Otto and Ida (Lynch) Maya.
Thomas proudly served his country in the Army. After an honorable discharge, he worked for many years as a truck driver. Thomas was a very humble man, who always put his family first. His household was known for it's hospitality, where all were welcome. He was a humorous man, with a smile always on his face, who enjoyed fishing, dancing and cooking. He was especially proud of all his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Service, 11:00 AM, at Molden Funeral Home, 133 Otter Street, Bristol. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
