Dr Timothy Robert "Tim" ARMSTRONG

Tim passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Bupa Whitby Care Home on 27th September 2025, after a brave and valiant battle with Alzheimer's. Tim was the loved husband of Veronica, loved father of Clare, Nicky & Rob. Father-in-law of Paul and Josh, and loved grandfather of Aston, Keira, Alexia, Indie and Ellie. Loved brother of John (dec) and Marilyn. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Whitby Care Home who cared for Tim for almost 3 years with dignity, respect and kindness at all times. A service for Tim will be held on Friday 3rd October at 11.00am at the Ninness Funeral Home Chapel, 17 Kenepuru Drive, Porirua. Everyone who wishes to come is welcome. The service will be followed by a private burial at Whenua Tapu Cemetery. Donations in Tim's memory may be made to the Wellington Alzheimer's Association, Dementia Wellington.
