Wayne CARRICK Obituary

Died on 25 August 2025, aged 80. Beloved son of Arthur & Coral. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Andy (dec), Loris, Barry, Charles & Julie. Much loved Uncle of Daniel & Lousie, Bryan, Graeme. Great-Uncle of Jordan and Jason. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. Cards can be posted c/- PO Box 7123, Wellington 6242. A private family service has been held.

Wayne was a wonderful, caring person and a dear friend. His kindness extended to everyone around him, family, friends and especially his beloved animals - the horses, cats, dogs, chickens, and all the wildlife he so deeply cared for. Such a gentle, giving soul will be truly missed. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

My experience of Wayne was that he was a gentle soul who loved animals. He used to come down to Brian's farm and feed his dogs. I'm sure he'll be very missed by his family.

I have very fond memories of Wayne who i first met at Woodcraft Ltd and latterly at the Ngaio dairy. Wayne was such a friendly guy who would always take the time for a chat. RIP Wayne
