Wendy was my best friend from the moment I met her when we were 10 years old at Brooklyn Primary school. She was amazing, full of life, full of wit, full of adventure, full of fun. I followed in her footsteps and am incredibly thankful for the influence she had. I will miss you more than you will know my dear old friend.

Sorry to have missed the memorial date. Wendy was a great friend at primary school, and we continued to cross paths over the years, including when she was working at MFAT. Such a strong, positive personality that added light to the world. Would like to talk to Gail or Russell, have been out of touch with Wendy since 25 years back.

Wendy, you were a source of warmth and support when I first joined MFAT. Thanks for being there for me in 2019. Love to your family.

I had a great couple of years working closely with Wendy. I will always remember Wendy's good sense of humour in challenging times at work, and her determination to get things done. But most importantly doing so with a smile and with the whole team in mind - it was always about the team. I haven't been in touch for the past couple of years so was shocked to hear that Wendy has passed away. As a former work colleague, I'd like her family to know she was cherished and valued, and had a really positive impact on our whole floor in the office - she was great fun to work with. Rest in peace Wendy. Aroha nui Guy, Bella and Henry, and Adams & de Lambert family.

Wendy, you were a great colleague, always cheerful, and impressively efficient. I remember our last meeting in a cafe in Upper Hutt - you were full of smiles as always! So sad to hear you have left us. Thinking of you.
