Wendy SNEDDON Obituary

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Wendy. Beautiful daughter, sister, aunty and friend. After a brave fight, she passed away surrounded by family. The world has lost a beautiful soul. Kua haere ia ki tōna moenga roa, rest well with Dad and the rellies Wendy. Wendy will be resting at Cornwall Manor, Lower Hutt (Gee and Hickton) for Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th if you wish to visit, share memories and say goodbye. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Te Omanga Hospice or The Ovarian Cancer Foundation of NZ. A Memorial service will be held for Wendy in the coming weeks, more information will be posted via social media when details are finalised.

So very sorry to hear Wendy has left us.

I worked with her at LINZ and we shared many happy conversations. Mostly agreeing how wonderful it is was to be Aunts, and to share garden stories.

I have some lovely purple and white irises, and a huge piece of her Poor Knights Island Lily she shared with me. Each time they flower I will remember a special soul.

I´m shocked & saddened to read that Wendy has passed away. Wendy & I were in the same work team at LINZ for a period of time. A lovely person.
My thoughts are with Wendy´s family at this sad time.
