William James "Bill" KNOWLES

Of Carterton. On 15th February 2026 at Kandahar Home, Masterton. Aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Rita. Loved father and father-in-law of David (deceased), Mark and Helen, Judy and Colin, and Lisa. Much loved Granddad of Taylor and Laura, Samantha, Jayden and Jodey and Bailey. Loved brother of Shirley Groombridge, Nancy Blackman, Bernice Olsen, Trevor, and Heather Martin. A loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. A special thanks to the staff at Kandahar Home and Carter Court for their care of Bill. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Carter Society, 95-97 Pembroke St, Carterton 5713 would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A celebration of Bill's life will be held in St Mark's Anglican Church, cnr High Street South and Richmond Road, Carterton, on Friday 20th February 2026 at 11.00am, followed by burial at the Clareville Lawn Cemetery.
