Our sincere condolences Jeanna, Emma and families. We have so many great memories of Ross from school to playing in the band at our Saturday night dances, skating trips to Lake Tekapo, shooting rabbits by spotlight from the old Chevy and always laughter and then more laughter. Wonderful memories.

My sympathy to Ross's family. We were in the same classes at Waimataitai and played in the brass band. Later in 1961 we were in a band called the Tornados that played at church dances,21sts and weddings. Other members of the band were David Loomes(guitar) and Robyn Betts(piano) and myself on trumpet. Great memories of a great friend.

Deepest sympathy to the McDonald family, on the loss of Ross, gone too soon. Many great memories from the Timaru Squash Club days, where Ross was a long time member. Ross was also a regular in our Squash interfirm cricket team, and often hosted annual games and BBQs at his Kingsdown property. Latterly we caught up again at the Timaru Golf Club, where Ross has been a long time member. A true South Canterbury icon,''Reidrubber Ross " will be sadly missed.
