Dorothy MONAGHAN Obituary

With deep sadness, we share that Dot passed away peacefully, though unexpectedly, on Thursday 18th December 2025, aged 70. Dearly loved wife of Brian, devoted mum of Annette and Duncan, Jacqui and Tyrone, Megan and Richard, Renee and Dave. Adored Nana of Finn, Henry and Libby; Lyric, Tane and Eden; Zara and Milly; Billy and Franky. Great-Nana to Bodhi. She will be greatly missed and remembered always. A service to honour and celebrate Dot will be held in The Village Chapel, 4 – 6 High Street, Kuripuni, Masterton, on Tuesday 23rd December at 1.00pm.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. Dot was such a warm kind person and always smiling. Growing up next door and later becoming family, Siggy and I have known Dot all our lives. When Aunty Joy passed away, she stepped in and was like a mother to Nod and Marilyn, giving so much care and love. I know Dot will be deeply missed by Brian, her children, and Jenny, Nod and Marilyn. Rest in peace Dorothy.
