Jim recently did some work for us at Carterton District Council. He was efficient, thorough, and helpful. He was also a great pleasure to work with, and I looked forward to dealing with him again.
He will be sorely missed in the industry, and I trust his family will find consolation in the fact that he will be remembered by many. Christo Heyns

Re Jim Juno,
I got to know Jim through my employment with Wellington City Council, Capacity, and latterly with Wellington Water. During this time I developed a respect for Jim as a person, as a Civil Contractor, as a knowledgeable contributor to the Contracting industry through Civil Contractors NZ, and his work on New Zealand Contract NZS3910. With his advocacy he helped to educate many an employee and engineer and provided a principled approach to contract management. That he could so with amusing anecdotes and a cheeky smile often increased his impact.
Jim has left a legacy of reservoirs and structures across the Wellington Region that will endure for a very long time. For that, the wider community can thank Jim and his Company for their knowledge, expertise, and workmanship.
Jim has earnt the respect of his fellow Contractors, Engineers and Client Principals. Jim could not have achieved this without the support of Belinda and their family. Thank you for sharing Jim with us for some of his 70 years. Rest in Peace, although I´m guessing he´s busy already working on some improvements for the after-life.

My deepest sympathies.

My first experience with Jim was many years ago as a young engineer monitoring one of his construction projects. Boy, that was a learning experience, with lessons I've carried thru my career.

Nearly always a gentleman, and always someone I liked and respected.

Dear Belinda and Rachel, I was so very sad to hear of Jim's passing. He was a great man and will be sorely missed. I am just happy to know that you were all together, and that you had enjoyed another cruise. I still remember how apposed to cruises Jim was, until we all enjoyed lunch aboard that beautiful cruise ship in Wellington. From that day on, he was hooked, and you all enjoyed cruising together in different parts of the world. To me, Jim was more than just a client, he became a friend. Sending love to you both.

It is with great sadness to hear of Jim's passing.
He was such a great person, hardworking, very dedicated to the family, his very successful business Juno Construction, rugby and to the Stokes Valley community. He had a great personality, huge heart and his generosity to the community was overwhelming.
Since leaving Stokes Valley, I still have great memories with the Juno family who you have always supported Bev and myself in our greengrocery business in the Valley.
Rest in peace my dear friend, your work is done. May those memories live on forever.
