Nick, Sam and Sarah, Olivia and Hamish, Sara and Russell and families together with Louwe and family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who supported them in various ways during Margyn's illness and at the time of her passing. We have appreciated the lovely cards, letters, flowers, food, phone calls, tributes, visits, and the presence of those at the service. So sad to hear of Margyn´s passing, she was an amazing, intelligent, strong, brave lady! She was an exceptional teacher, my children loved her and she was a warm and wonderful woman to chat with and know. Gone too soon, rest in peace Margyn.

So very sad to hear about Margyn today. She was someone I respected greatly, and I was always in awe of the way she expertly wrangled our littlest learners when we taught together at Gladstone School (2005- 2008) We would often bump into each other at all the 'teacher-y' events across the years since then, and her smile in greeting was always open, welcoming and lovely. You will be greatly missed, Margyn, rest in love xx To Margyn's beloved family and friends: "Na koutou i tangi na tatou katoa." (When you cry, your tears are shed by us all.)
