KNZM and KC. Died peacefully on Saturday 1st July, in his 94th year. Widower of Felicity, who died in 2019. Much loved and appreciated father and father-in-law of Simon and Bridget, Arthur and Mary, and Bridget and Geoff. Grandfather and Grandfather-in-law of Juliet and Stuart, Oliver and Laura, Guy and Anna, Benedict and Rachel, Lily and Mike, Annabella, the late Darcy, Jack, Ambrose, and the late Bonnie. Great-grandfather of Gemma, David, Zoe, Ashley, Hamish, Ted, Alice, Pip and Harriet. A private cremation has been held. A memorial gathering will be held at the Northern Club, 19 Princes St, Auckland, at 11.00am, on Thursday 20 July. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Outward Bound Trust of New Zealand, or Te Hopai Home and Hospital, Owen Street, Wellington, would be most appreciated.
