Greetings from Australia folks.Absent from the body, present with his Lord. No more sorrows, sickness, disappointments. I'm coming too: on the journey into the Kingdom of Jo suha son of God. Very blessed to have known Alan and you all. It took his passing to separate him as well, from that great love of his steam boat(s).

Condolences to Alans family.
I had the pleasure of working with Alan with my crane on the Ohinemuri River placing a dairy factory effluent pipe across the river. He had the Settler midstream placing the pipes. Another time he towed a barge with the Puke steam boat.
A good honest man.

Thinking of you Zelma, and Ian, and families at this very sad time. He was one of a kind from all accounts, and much loved and respected.
My condolences,
