Anthony CORFE Obituary

CORFE, Anthony (Tony) Carteret. Sadly passed away at home on 11th February 2017, aged 77 years. Son of Gwendoline Helen and Charles Carteret Corfe (deceased). Former Husband of Wilma (deceased) and friend of Jean. Beloved Dad of Adrienne, Sonia, Christine, and John. Fun Granddad of 7 and Great Granddad of 1. In lieu of flowers donations to the Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated and can be left in the Chapel Foyer. "Gone fishing, no Coastguard required." Friends are invited to attend a Service to celebrate Tony's life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Wanganui on Saturday 18th February 2017 at 1.30pm to be followed by private cremation.

We were shocked to hear of the passing of our cousin Tony. Even though I had never met Tony, I always knew where he was though our Auntie Diana here in Australia. My brother John Corfe, his wife Nerida and their family from Ipswich in Queensland send their condolences as do myself, Susan Goodwin (Corfe) my husband Tony and our family. We share in your grief of the death of a loved family member. May he Rest in Peace.
