Clare, Brian and I had one thing in common and that was you. It happened by accident when I visited his shop and said I went to St Mary´s as a boarder in Wellington. Then the conversation flowed....Brian said you remembered me and I said I remembered you! Small world. I missed our chats when he sold the shop. RIP Brian

I will remember Brian as a great work colleague @IRD Wanganui and more recently an obliging retailer at the local bookshop. Brian always had time to chat and reflect on the good times of the past. Condolences to the family - treasure the memories RIP Brian

Many happy memories of Brian. A favourite of his Auntie Connie(my mother) who excused him from dish duties as long as he sang for her . And while I was 3years at Sacred Heart College as a boarder, his family were my Wanganui family. God bless you Brian, Rest in Peace

Patricia and Family
In the fifty years that i knew Brian i found a man that lived by his principles and his religious faith .My involvement with Brian was mainly with Rugby ,while he was chairman, as he was restructuring the business he was employed with, he still found time to help with fundraising for the Rugby Union, this involved Pinus Contorta control up Mount Ruapehu and chaffing oats at Waiouru . I will miss the phone calls ranging from rugby to almost anything , and lasting longer as we get older .. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the Vaughan family . Goodbye Brian it has been my privilege to have had known you ...

To Brian's family and friends. Apologies that I could not get to Brian's service. A staunch rugby man and a great Marist supporter. We will miss having Brian around.
