Earlier today
It is with sadness that we heard of Dawn's passing. Our last contact with her she was bright and cheerful just as we always emember her from all those years ago living next door at Titahi Bay. Now all our parents are gone (Alison and Stuart, Ken and Dawn), we cherish those memories when as neighbours our families spent many happy times together sharing interests and everyday moments as well as being alongside each other through challenging times.
Sorry we cannot be there with you in Wanganui as you celebrate her life. Knowing we are thinking of you all.

Always Mrs Mac to me. First time I met her 65 plus years ago when I was as yet unborn. My mum Marion and Dawn were close friends for many years. They first met at Titahi Bay Little Theatre in 1960. Played tennis together and swimming in the bay. She has always been a part of our Slow family and I will miss her. I am glad she died at her home and is at peace. Love you forever Mrs Mac from all us Slows. Xxxx
