Denise HAAMI-MATTHEWS Obituary
HAAMI-MATTHEWS, Denise Rosemary. Peacefully at home on 19th January 2023, aged 65 years. Much loved daughter of Hinemoa and the late Patrick Haami. Beloved wife of Graham. Dearly loved Mum of Luana, and Leesha; Cherished Nan and Nana of Nakita, Paris, John; and Kaedyn. Denise's tangi is being held at Te Aroha Paa Kai Iwi. Her funeral service will be held at the Paa on Tuesday 24th January 2023, at 11am. Followed by interment at the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.

Gay and I went to St Anthonys together with Denise, then Sacred Heart with Gay. A very good netballer. We grew up in the same neighbourhood. I will treasure the times we caught up. Fond memories. Much aroha to all the Haami-Matthews families. Joy Walden
