Dear Sheila and family,

We wish you all great peace knowing how much we enjoyed and appreciated our professional and social interactions with Jeremy. It was a privilege to know him. Although many years ago now, we both will always think of Jeremy as a very sincere, intellectually able but oh so humble man, sparkling with warmth and the joy of Life, and a deep-seated adventurous spirit. Whereas Godwin's was for rising above the clouds, Jeremy's was for the high seas.I have often wondered whether you ever did join him on that high seas adventure Sheila; the very thought of it in 1978 terrified me! With our kindest and most comforting thoughts and best wishes. Godwin and Suzanne Balasingam and family.

We are saddened to hear of Jeremy's passing. I have fond memories of my time with Jeremy as a member of Coastguard Wanganui and as trustees.

Our thoughts are with you Sheila, and your family at this sad time.

Phil and Kristina Pollero.
