Maurice John PETHERICK

PETHERICK, Maurice John. Passed away peacefully on 16th April 2022 at Devonport, aged 79 years. Son of the late Frank and Ruby Petherick of Wanganui. Beloved husband and cherished companion to Margaret. Loved father and father-in- law of Darryl and Helen (Devonport), Michael and Donella (Wellington), Ashley and Sas (Bristol), Greg and Anne (Auckland). Dearly loved Grandad to Sam, Nick, Rata and Lucian. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Elaine (Plimmerton) and Colin (Nelson), Noel and Ann (Wanganui), Gillian and Neil (Palmerston North). Uncle to Gay-Lynn, Karen, Wayne, Bronwyn, Brent, Nigel, and Jo. Maurice was born and raised in Wanganui, started work in Wellington but devoted 45 of his years to family, friends, business and the community in Whangarei. His love, friendship and commitment will be missed by us all. A service to celebrate Maurice's life will be held at the Morris and Morris Funeral Directors, 199 Kamo Road, Whangarei, 2pm Thursday 21st April 2022. Followed by a gathering at the Whangarei Club, Rust Ave Whangarei.
