Robert DREW Obituary

DREW, Robert Philip. Peacefully at Home on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, aged 75. Dearly loved husband of Carol. Cherished father and father-in- law of Kath and, Mike and Emma. Loved Grandad of Ema, Thomas, Finn, and Lucy. Messages to the Drew Family may be left on Rob's tribute page at eagars.co.nz/rob. A service to celebrate Rob's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Monday 1st September 2025 at 10.30am. For those unable to attend, Rob's funeral will be livestreamed via his tribute page

Our thoughts are with you Carol and family with the passing of Rob. He was a great friend meeting up at Mokau for whitebaiting each year. Sorry we can't be with you as we are touring the South Island for 2 months.

It is with great sadness that we hear our good friend has past away. He certainly was a real gentleman & a good guy with a big heart. We will always be grateful for the many, many tasks either made or fixed over the years at the golf club. All done to his high expectations & always with a smile. His easy going manner was a real pleasure to be around.

Rob was an amazing and incredibly determined man one who lived life to the fullest we will miss him so much,fishing our favorite spot at Mokau will never be the same again without him sharing the beach with me and our lengthy debriefs over a gin or two
