Honestly can't believe how much pain I've gone through for the past 3 days since you've been gone you shared the most biggest hugs for a skinny person like you. Thank you for always being by my side when I'm sometimes not feeling myself in option class thanks for 3 and half months well spent together at school. I only met Sam a couple of times, but he left an impression as a sweet, well-mannered young man who was always kind to my boys. It broke my heart to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family. I pray you all will find the strength to carry on.

Sam I am deeply saddened to hear that you have passed. I received a call at 5am on Sunday morning of what happened my ex wife messaged me as she was talking to your mum Tuyan was very upset. I have know you as a small boy you and my son went to tui together and yes I can remember taking you places like splash planet with my son and you... very sad to hear and still very young 13 years bless you my boy till we meet again...

Sam was so much an integral part of the Turakina and Koitiata community. Full of energy, ready with a quick comment, artistic , athletic, such potential. Sam's entrepreneurial spirit has been lost too soon. May he rest in peace, but may his memory live long with his family and friends.
