AGE: 48 • Middletown

Doris A. Finn, 48, of Middletown, NJ, died on August 4, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was born in Jersey City, and lived in North Arlington and Belleville before settling in Middletown 13 years ago. Doris graduated from Queen of Peace High School and received her Accounting Degree from Rutgers University, Newark. She worked as a Controller for Direct Auto Shippers in Linden NJ. Prior to that she was a substitute teacher for the Middletown Board of Education. While raising her children she was very active in all of their activities, most notably the Red Bank YMCA Swim Team and St. Mary's RC Church where she taught CCD. She is also past president of the New Monmouth PTA.

Surviving are her loving husband of 23 years, John Finn, daughter, Erin Finn; two sons, Connor and Ryan Finn;parents, Joseph and Doris DiCorcia; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Al Salvatore; Margaret and Al Gutierrez; Susan Walsh and Elliot Kalmus; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Karen DiCorcia; mother-in-law, Pat Finn; brother-in-law, Patrick Finn; also surviving are her loving nieces and nephews, Elena, AJ, Christopher, Timothy, Matthew, Jackie, Terry, Ali, Stephen, Kevin, and Alyson.

Doris was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Dermot Finn, and niece, Mary Finn-Reddan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 7-9 pm and on Thursday August 7, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Mary Mother Of God Church, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Rd., Middletown. A funeral Liturgy will be offered on Friday August 8, at 10:30 am at Mary Mother Of God Church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to - The CSNJ , in honor of Doris Finn - Team Name "The Foot Clan"
