Leondray Bell, 51, of Harrisburg, PA, formerly of Asbury Park, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at home, after a short illness. Leon was born in Long Branch on Sept. 3, 1961 to William Bell Sr. and Queen Anne Dickerson. He was a graduate of Asbury Park High School. He also attended Brookdale Community College. He was a member of the 1978 N.J. State Championship Basketball team. Leon was employed at Giants Foods Store. He was also employed at Marlboro State Hospital for over 15 years before moving to PA. Leon enjoyed cleaning and doing floors in his spare time and was known as the "Floor Doctor." Leon also loved listening to music and playing basketball.

Leon was predeceased by his parents, William Bell Sr. and Queen Anne Dickerson. Leon is survived by his loving wife, Althea R. Bell of Harrisburg, PA; 4 sons, Leondray (Mia) Bell II of Neptune, Stevie L. Bell of Harrisburg, PA, Jerrell Bell of Asbury Park, and Michael Fisher of Princeton; 2 daughters, Shalon Brown of Neptune, and Brittney Powell of Tinton Falls; his adopted mother, Teresa Lippett of Neptune; 3 brothers, William "Billie" Bell of Pittsburg, PA, Gregory "Mustafa" Dickerson of Atlanta, GA, and Anthony "Tony" Lippett of Neptune; 2 sisters, Karen Brown and Daphne Bell of Asbury Park; 9 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.

Memorial services will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 1331 South 14th St., Harrisburg, PA. Repast will be at the church after the service. Memorial services will also be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013 at VFW, 1515 Corlies Ave., Neptune.
