James BREEDLOVE Obituary
BREEDLOVE, James Mr. James Edwin "Ed" Breedlove, 89, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away May 28, 2014. Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mildred Irene Huff Breedlove, who passed one year ago on May 28, 2013, and his parents Clifton Oscar Breedlove and Rena Angelina Smith Breedlove. Ed attended Boys High and North Georgia College, and he became an avid fan of the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Ed proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict as an officer, with the final rank of Lieutenant. He was retired from Southern Bell where he held management positions all over the state of Georgia. Ed will be remembered for his commitment to his family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by five children: Ken (Dee) Breedlove of Kansas City, Missouri, Randy (Jo) Breedlove of Lawrenceville, Deb Breedlove, John (Linda H.) Breedlove of Lawrenceville, and Linda (fiancé Bill Illg) of Cumming, six grandchildren Sara (fiancé Joel Gladfelter), Anna (Dr. Randall Newth), Ryan, Brookes (Kalyn), Kelsea, and Connor, and two great grandchildren Remington and Estella Newth. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Sunrise Senior Living for their support and care of both Mom and Dad. A Memorial Service will be held at the Tom Wages Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Georgia, on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 2 PM. The family will receive visitors at 1PM.
