Family-Placed Death Notice

Steven M. Solomon, 33, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Grady Hospital, Atlanta. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday at Macon Coliseum with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will meet friends from 4-6 P.M., Sunday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street and will greet friends following the service at Fire Station No. 10, 800 Oglethorpe Street, Macon 31201. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emerald Fund for Steven Solomon at any Wachovia Bank. Mr. Solomon was born in Macon and had lived in Atlanta for the past four months. He was a former member of the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department for six years and was presently a member of the Atlanta Fire Department. Mr. Solomon was a member of the U. S. Naval Reserve in Macon and also a member of Warner Robins C.M.E. Church. Mr. Solomon is survived by his wife, Kennetha L. Solomon of Warner Robins; four children, Kennard Solomon, Kenneth Solomon, Keshawn Solomon and N'Kya Solomon; his mother, Viola Solomon; his father, Larry Coley; his brother and sisters, Kenneth Coley, Marilyn Coley and Catherine Solomon all of Macon; his maternal grandmother, Mary Butts of Macon; his maternal grandfather, Harry Solomon of Macon; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; his father-in-law Kenneth Moseley of Soperton; his mother-in-law, Julia Smith of Soperton and a host of family and friends.
