COLUMBUS: Reva Baehr died on January 31, 2013.

Reva is the daughter of the late Gladys and Ray McDorman of Harrod, Ohio, and is survived by her brother, Carl McDorman also of Harrod, Ohio. She lived most of her life in Bucyrus, Ohio. On November 2, 1946, Reva married Ralph F. Baehr who preceded her in death on April 8, 1988. Ralph is the father of Carol (Baehr) Economy of Salsulito CA., and Jean (Baehr) Martin Parker of North Ridgeville, Ohio. Ralph and Reva are the parents of Gregory Baehr of Columbia, MO., Kenneth Baehr of Worthington, Ohio, and Marsha (Baehr) Friedli of Dublin, Ohio.

Reva was a graduate of Harrod High School and was a graduate of the Lima Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, and was a Registered Nurse. For over 40 years Reva worked in all areas of nursing from private duty, emergency room, Supervisor of Surgery, an industrial nurse, and as Crawford County Public Health Nurse.

Reva enjoyed flying and was a licensed private pilot, a member of The OX-5 Aviation Pioneers, and The 99's: International Organization of Women Pilots, The North Side Reading Circle and the Kings Daughters. In addition to aviation, Reva also enjoyed traveling, sailing on Lake Erie, gardening, and was a proud supporter of The Ohio State University. In her travels she visited all 50 states, Canada, traveled north of the Arctic Circle several times, and made a complete transit of the Panama Canal.

Visitation and a memorial service will be held on April 20th, 2013 at Good Hope Lutheran Church where she was a member. Visitation is from 10 - 11am with the memorial service starting at 11am.
