In 1987, Richard married Barbara J. Sears and together they raised Richard's only child, Nichole. In retirement, Richard enjoyed working security for the Pines, where he resided. Richard also enjoyed many years of playing softball, collecting baseball cards, playing pool, reading, and was a lifetime Yankee fan. Richard was a wonderful man and father who will be missed dearly. Richard was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, in March 2013; sisters, Janet, Shirley and Joan; and brother, Jerry. He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Dague of Burlington, and Linda Blair of Winooski; daughter, Nichole and her husband, Alan Cunningham, and their three children, of St. Albans; many nieces, nephews, and friends from the Pines; and very special friend, Dylan Cromer of South Burlington.
