CHANDLER, PANSY JEAN (LINEBACK), 82, passed over today, September 6, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC after a lengthy illness.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Prentis Eugene Chandler. Dear mother of Diane McCallister of Pasadena and Michael Chandler Sr. of Glen Burnie, Md. Loved grandmom of four grand-children, Michael McCallister of Glen Burnie, Elliot McCallister of Pasadena, Michael Chandler Jr. of PA and Jennifer Bubba of Glen Burnie. She also survived by ten cherished great-grand-children.

Mrs. Chandler was a former resident of Glen Burnie for over thirty years. She retired from C.M. Kemps, Ferndale in 1992 after thirty years of service. She moved back too her beloved home town of Mt. Airy, NC after retiring. Pansy could repair and built just about anything most of her life. She enjoyed working out-doors. Blind in one eye and very little vision in the other eye she built a old time tobacco barn (smoke house). She won 1st place in the county fair. When her health began to fail Pansy enjoyed putting puzzles together for family and friends.

There will be a private internment at Skyline Memorial Gardens, Mt. Airy, NC. In lieu of flowers please make donations too "The American Heart Association".
