Judith Schneider Obituary
Judith Ann (Hurt) Pearson Schneider, (1938-2014), 75, passed away February 1, 2014 in Naperville. A beloved wife of James and mother to Robert Pearson, AnnMarie (Pearson) Fauske and their spouses, Beth (Cameron) Pearson and Kristian Fauske, she was also step-mother to James and Scott Schneider, Jeri (Schneider) Zaruba and Joey (Schneider) Kikke. Judith was adored as "Nana" by her grandchildren, Thomas (TJ) and Rebecca Pearson, and Jake and Jaden Fauske. She also enjoyed step grandchildren Ariel Riewerts, Sarah Schneider, Elizabeth (Montalto) Kimbrough, Jason Montalto, Melissa (Montalto) Ruff, Xavier Van Aron, Brett Zaruba and Patrick Zaruba. Judith was a graduate of Maine Township High School in Park Ridge and Northwestern University Dental School. She worked as a dental hygienist and later as an owner and a creator of specialty foods for a grocery store (Mr. B's) in Western Springs with her husband of 37 years. She was a wonderful homemaker and caregiver to many. A talented pianist, gardener and craft artist, she also devoted studies to the Bible. She was preceded in death by her parents Erwin M. Hurt and Arlene Ann (Cubin) Hurt of Park Ridge. She is also survived by her brother Gary and sister-in-law Kay Hurt of Aurora, nephew Stephen Hurt of Lombard, niece Jennifer (Hurt) Swanson of Aurora and grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. followed by services at 1:00 p.m. at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove, IL. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Moody Bible Institute or Wounded Warriors Project.
