Dianne N. Johnson, 71, of Whippany, died March 8, 2013 after a 10 year battle with Breast Cancer. Born in Peoria, ILL and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Dianne put herself through college in New Hampshire, receiving a BS in Business in 1968.
Wife, teacher; mother; home maker; she was retired from the MTF in Basking Ridge, N.J. A devoted quilter, she was a member of the NJ Quilter Guild; a volunteer for "Jersey Cares" making dresses for orphanages in the Dominican Republic and Africa; lap quilts for disables veterans and pillow cases for "Kids with Cancer".
Beloved wife of 45 years to Ken, mother of Greg (wife Stephanie), Erika, and Andrew. Loving Grandmother of Victoria, Abbey, Mattie, and Phoebe. She is survived by 3 brothers; Dee ,Herman, & Jim and 3 sisters; Beth, Terry & Leslie. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany Saturday March 23 at 11am, where she was a member and Deacon since 1973.
