SALISBURY-Earlene Marshall Seidel, 86, departed this life Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at her home. Born March 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo T. and Mary P. Marshall.

Earlene received her formal education in the Wicomico County Public School System. She was a graduate of New York University with a degree in Accounting. She worked in Accounting at Bendix for more than 10 years, including 3 years abroad in Madagascar. Earlene also owned and operated her own Accounting Practice for over 35 years. She was a strong, independent spirit, who once she set her mind to something, you couldn't tear her from it. In addition to her career, Earlene enjoyed such activities like bird watching, gardening, cooking and sewing. She most of all enjoyed people. Earlene was a compassionate person who saw good in everyone. Her kind heart was shown through her beautiful smile, and her soft loving touch. Earlene's love and memories will be shared by all who knew her!

Earlene is survived by her grandson, Michael Parsons (Debra), great-grandson, Colin Parsons, great-granddaughter, Sydney Parsons; daughter-in-law, Deborah Ainsworth (wife of Kenneth), one sister, Margaret Gibson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Seidel, her son Kenneth Parsons, and 3 brothers, James, Robert P., and Paige.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 15, 2013, at 12 noon at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1401 Camden Ave. Salisbury, Maryland 21801.
