She is survived by her husband, Michael; her mother Marilyn; mother-in-law Jeannie Wittneben; siblings Sheryl (Doug) Kardell, Jeff (Michelle) Wendel, Denna Large, Sarah (Shannon) Bradshaw, Suzanne (Bucky) Ray, and Scott Woollard; and many nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Mo and his staff at the University of Iowa Cancer Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support research of Dr. Mohammed M. Milhem, Melanoma Research Fund (30506072) at the University of Iowa. Contributions in Sheila's memory can be made payable to the University of Iowa Center for Advancement.
