Dixie Anna Fickle was born in Nodaway, Missouri; she was the daughter of Guy and Jesse (Brownlee) Fickle. Dixie attended school in the area of her birth. On October 4, 1952, Dixie was united in marriage to Melvin Webb in New Jersey. They moved to the Des Moines area in 1964, and this was their home and where they raised their children. She worked at Reeds Ice cream for many years and then at JC Penney. She always raised a garden and canned her produce, she loved to cook and bake and will be remembered for her cookies. As a family, they camped at least once a year and those were her favorite times. They were members of Walnut Creek Church and were always very involved. She enjoyed her family and being around all of them. In her later years, she enjoyed word search.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 66, years, Melvin, children, Lynn Webb, Kevin (Janice) Webb, Keith Webb and Dawn Kirchoff all of Des Moines, grandchildren, Ciji Cook, Christopher Cook and Canaan Webb, great-grandchildren, Gavin, Evin, Laela, Rylee, Bella, Kayden and JoJo and a sister, Florence Fries of St Joseph, Missouri.

In death Dixie rejoins her parents, Guy and Jesse Fickle, siblings, Dewey Fickle, Dolly Kerns, Sharon Moutray, and son-in-law, Scott Kirchoff and great-grandson Kaden Daniels.
