KIRKBRIDE Charles "Chuck" Kirkbride, age 69, of Whitehall, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012. He was born December 14, 1943 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Charles E. Kirkbride and Marjorie (Wiggins) Vogel. A 1961 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School, Chuck served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post #490. He was a journeyman electrician, enjoyed golfing and bowling, and was an avid OSU Buckeye fan. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, along with the American Legion Post #490 family. He is survived by his children, Jean (Chris Barton) Kirkbride, David (Sheila) Kirkbride, John (Angelia) Kirkbride and Patty (David) Overley; mother of his children, Sue Kirkbride; loving grandpa to Jessica, Megan, Patrick, Adena, Kotie, Sammi (Tyler), Nikki, David, Emily, Gaige (deceased), Madison, Morgan, Maesyn; great-grandchildren, Landen, Mersadies, Logan, Maddox, Lexi, Drake, and Paige; sister, Carol (Dick) Skarke; brother, Michael (Karen) Kirkbride; nieces and nephews, Kelly, Kristie, Kathy, Nicole, Ryan, Michael and Kim; extended family and good friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232, where service will be held at 12Noon on Friday.
