Mike enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay on his boat "ABRA CA DEBORAH". Prior to his boating ventures, he took several boating classes and seamanship courses with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. He also enjoyed the times he spent at the family camp in Clearfield County with his father-in-law and brothers-in-law.
