Death was caused by complications from exposure to asbestos fiber.

He moved with his family to Seymour, WI where he attended high school and graduated with the Class of 1945. After completing an apprenticeship in electricity and attaining his Master Electrician Certification, he was employed at Beemster Electric in Green Bay for 25 years and then continued his employment as a member of Local #158 IBEW until the time of his retirement in 1989. Harold was honored recently with his 60-year membership certification from his Local Union. He was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Harold and Elizabeth "Betty" Casper were married on November 24, 1948, in Howard, WI. They shared 65 plus years together enjoying their life and raising their family.
