Dave an absolutely delightful man to fly with. I flew with him on the 727 and the DC-10 at United Air Lines. Great pilot and a wonderful person.

Dave cared deeply about his family, community, and the world. I am honored he considered me a friend and I think of him often. I think if I need him, he will still be found looking for his once a year hot dog at a Wesleyan halftime or strolling with the plovers at White Sands. That is reassuring.
