Lil Casebeer
Lil M. Casebeer, 88, died in Klamath Falls Oct. 12, 2013. A service of tribute and love will be at her home from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 25, 2013. Private cremation and inurnment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
Lil was born July 14, 1925 in Portland to Oscar & Meta Naef Cross. She grew up in Portland and graduated from Milwaukie High School. She then attended Lewis and Clark College where she received her AA degree. She married Harold Curry and they moved to Newport ,Ore. and operated a grocery store. Thomas died in 1954 and she then moved to Bonanza, OR in 1965, where she farmed. She remained there until she retired and moved into Klamath Falls.
Lil enjoyed golfing, playing pinochle, playing tennis, bowling, being with her friends & her trips to Reno, NV. She was a member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Curry of Klamath Falls; grandchildren, George and Marilyn Curry both of Bonanza; great-grandchildren. Justyce Compton; Liberty Curry; Thomas Curry; Gavin Curry and Hagen Teeter; cousins, Bob and Yvonne Naef of Milwaukie, Ore.; special Friend, Marty Ottoman of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and numerous other friends.
She was preceded by her husband and son, Thomas Curry, in 2006.
