John W. Holtum

John W. Holtum of Camano Island, WA passed away on Tuesday, April 3rd 2007 at age 84 after a year long battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Genevieve; three daughters, Sally, Connie, and Trish; four sons, Larry, Randy, Mike, and Joe; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
While serving his country in WWII, John flew PBM sea planes in the South Pacific. After the war he owned and operated Sunnyside Nursery in Marysville, WA for 25 years, then retired to Camano Island. All his life he loved the water, spending winter months in Mexico and happily gardening or beach combing here on the Island.
Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m., noon, on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Camano Chapel.
