ALBERT EDWARD SHEPPARD, JR. 67, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 in Houston, Texas. Friends called him Shep. He was a fifth generation Texan, starting his career with Cameron Iron Works upon completing his education at University of Texas in 1963. He traveled the world representing Cameron and made many friends internationally and locally. He would have never retired. He loved his job. He was a devoted husband and father and so proud of his son Scott. When his two grandsons, Kevin and Eric, came along, his joy was unlimited. He made many trips to Baltimore to spend time with them and could hardly wait to take them to Disney World. He was a generous man and would shop endless hours to find just the right gifts for all of his family and friends. He loved golf, football, shopping and was a pack rat. He will be missed by his wife, Marlene, son Scott and wife Dorothy, grandchildren Kevin and Eric, brother Anthony and wife Bettye, brother Micky and wife Barbara, nephew Branch and wife Haley and their children Reid, Jack and Ellen, niece Shelly and husband Joe. He will be remembered for his wit and intelligence. He was blessed with many friends and we shall all miss him. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM, Friday, November 21, 2008 at Klein Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held from 1:00PM-2:00PM, Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Klein Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Klein Funeral Home.
