LESLIE WILLIAM (BILL) ELLISON, II, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2006 after a long illness. Survivors include Margaret, his wife of 29 years; two sons, Will and Tyler Ellison; his parents Lois and Bill; two adoring sisters, Janice Branch (David) and Linda Miller; nieces: Lani Miller, Melissa Miller Russell (David), Lisa Bridges Ramirez (Joey) all of Houston; Kim Bridges Kellar (Russell) of Smithville; Wendy White Naughton (Dominic) of Chicago; Lynne Gladstone of San Diego; one nephew, Jeffrey Gladstone of Long Beach; and many other loving family members and friends. Born in Corpus Christi on November 20, 1949, Bill grew up in Houston, graduating in 1968 from Westbury High School. He lived in Austin where he became a real estate broker. He and some friends started the rock band Uranium Savages. Bill married Margaret White in Austin and lived there until 1981 when he moved to the valley and sold real estate on South Padre Island until 2004. Bill never met a stranger, and everyone will greatly miss his quick wit, super personality, and many talents. He was a founding member of Christ's Harbor Church in Laguna Vista and active within the Emmaus Community. Over the years he enjoyed baseball, golf, fishing, surfing, and cooking. The family welcomes everyone who loved Bill and his family to join them for a memorial service celebrating his time with us. The memorial service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Good Shepard Episcopal Church in Friendswood, Texas with The Reverend Jim Nelson officiating. A memorial service in Laguna Vista is also scheduled for a later date. Condolences may be made online to the Ellison family in care of Jeter Memorial Funeral Home to jeter@flash.net.

Bill was a great friend. I have
wonderful memories from our adventures in our youth growing up in Belliare and surfing in high school and many more from our college days.I want to express that our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
