Virginia L. Coyle Obituary

Virginia Lee Coyle

Born to Allen LaVon and Nancy Jeanne (Clark) Coyle on June 23, 1951 in Morgan County, IN, and died from complications of breast cancer. She grew up in Martinsville and was a member of the high school graduating class of 1969. She attended I.U. where she particularly enjoyed playing rugby. Subsequently she attended IVTech where she graduated as valedictorian with a nursing degree. She worked in OB-GYN at Community Hospital North.

"Ginny" as all knew her, was a member of the High School band, loved to play the piano and other instruments. She loved travelling and the outdoors and her many animals. She was also an avid marksman. But the love of her life was her soul mate for life, Marsha Cecil.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother and father. She is survived by her life partner, Marsha Kaye Cecil and her extended family Richard and Glenda Cecil, Kevin and Jade Cecil, Brian Cecil and fiancé Jenny; her three nephews, Aaron, Keith and Brian Thomas Cecil; her niece, Kasey Cecil and her sister-in-law, Patrice Cecil and her daughters, Elizabeth and Becky. She leaves behind many friends and people who loved her in this life. Ginny will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in Indiana Funeral Care & Crematory - Harry W. Moore Chapel , with a reception to follow until 6:00 p.m. Please visit her online guestbook at

In lieu of flowers, Ginny would have preferred donations to the or the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
