Annette Lynn Park Miller Obituary
Annette Lynn Park Miller, 48

Annette Lynn Park Miller, 48, of Brookston, formerly of Marion, OH, passed away at 5:34 pm, Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at St. Elizabeth-East of Lafayette, where she was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 25, 1965 in Mt. Gilead, OH to Michael and Geraldine "Geri" (Arthur) Park and was a 1983 graduate from Highland High School. Annette received an Associate Degree from Marion Technical College and was attending The Ohio State University.

The greatest day of Annette's life was on August 15, 2009 when she married her love, Robert Randall Miller, at her families farm in Harmony Township, Ohio. Some have said that it was the event of the century.

Annette was a member of the Mt. Gilead Friends Church, the Oxford United Methodist Church, Ohio State Fair Board, the Ohio and Indiana Farm Bureau Organization, President of the Farm Bureau Youth of Ohio, White Co. Ladybugs HomeEc Club, and the Illiana Tractor Association, among many other clubs and organizations.

She had worked at the Selover Public Library in Chesterville, OH, was a Teacher's Aide at the Marion City Schools, and had also worked at Mary Stiffler's Craft Shop in Sparta, OH.

Annette grew up very active in the marching band at Highland H.S., where she played the trombone. She loved taking cruises with the Morrow Co. folk, being a member of the White Co. Ladybugs, judging the Career Development Events for the National FFA Organization, and was an avid Buckeye fan. She also enjoyed traveling to West Virginia to visit with her aunt and to spend time at a cabin she discovered in Peters Mountain. Annette was extremely family oriented and believed in God, Country, and Family. She had a great sense of humor, loved meeting new people, and no one ever lived life to its fullest quite like Annette.

Surviving with her parents and husband are her three dogs, whom she loved as her own children, Ruby, Addie, and Orville; her sister, Barbara Lyman (husband: Ted) of Mt. Gilead, OH and their children, Jessica and Andrew; and her brother, Michael Park of Marengo, OH and his children Sophia, Corinne, and Lara.

She is also survived by her grandmother, Betty Preston, her father-in-law and best friend, Herbert L. Miller, brother-in-law, Daniel Miller (wife: Lynn) and family, sister-in-law, Julie A. Baumgartner (husband: Kermit) and family, brother-in-law, Scott Miller, and sister-in-law, Jill T. Aquafredda (husband: Robert) and family, and many aunt, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Preceding her in death is a grandmother, Ruby Arthur.
