Riedl, Mary B. (Née Wendt) Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, May 2, 2013, age 99 years. Preceded in death by her loving husband Atty. Charles A., Sr. and two brothers. Survived by her dear children Mary (John) Wozny, of Greendale, WI, Marguerite (William) Dineen, of Dahlgren, VA, Catherine (Thomas) Ellenbecker, of Ripon, WI, Charles, Jr. (Pamela) of Zionsville, IN, Elizabeth (Lawrence) Renfro of Papillion, NE, Patricia (Gregory) Lipinksi of Loveland, CO, Richard (Susan) of Louisville, KY, and Robert (Debra) of Appleton, WI. Grandmother to 22 and great-grandmother to 17. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Special thanks to her devoted family friend Fr. Kenneth Herian, SJ, staffs of St. Camillus, St. Camillus Home Care and Hospice, Mary's aide of 4 years, Annette Patterson, and her many doctors for their loving care. Mary attended Mount Mary College for two years before entering Marquette University Law School graduating in 1936. After graduation, she sold war bonds for the Milwaukee Company before joining the Navy WAVES and achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander in WWII, during which she was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Her late father William (Agnes) Wendt was the Milwaukee City Comptroller from 1936- 1949. Mary was a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, Emeritus; Gamma Pi Epsilon, now Alpha Sigma Nu National Jesuit Honorary; Kappa Beta Pi National Legal Sorority; Kappa Beta Gamma National Social Sorority; and, Marquette University prom queen in 1935. Mary was employed by NASA and the Air Force as a contract administrator for the Dept. of Defense at AC Delco Electronics in Oak Creek from 1963-1969. She retired from federal service at the Veterans Administration Regional Office, Milwaukee, in 1980. Mary was an active member of the WAVES Association, American Legion Post 351 and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Montello, WI. Visitation will be held at St. CAMILLUS GUARDIAN ANGEL CHAPEL, 10101 W. Wisconsin Ave., Wauwatosa, WI 53226 on Monday, May 6, 2013, from 9:30AM-11:00AM with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00AM.
