Klocksin, Robert Ceman Of Menomonee Falls, 95, died January 10, 2014, in Menomonee Falls. Bob was born April 23, 1918 in Milwaukee to Clarence C. and Theodosia ("Tess")Klocksin. Bob graduated from Shorewood High School, where he was co-captain of the track team in 1936, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1940. During World War II, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged after serving in the 14th Armored Division. Following World War II, Bob lived in Milwaukee, where he attended Layton School of Art at night. He passed the State of Wisconsin licensing exam to become a registered architect and joined the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Early in his career, Bob was program chairman for Milwaukee's AIA chapter. Bob spent most of his many years in architecture with the Milwaukee firms of Eschweiler and Eschweiler and Plunkett- Keymar-Reginato. He was proud of his many Milwaukee area school projects, and was project manager for John Marshall High School, Nathaniel Hawthorne School, and the Henry L. Palmer School and addition. Bob was also project manager for the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) North campus in Mequon. Bob appreciated his many professional friendships, especially those with Al Kubala, Jim Plunkett, and Len Widen.On July 23, 1941, Bob married Elizabeth June "Bette" Chilsen in Merrill. The couple raised their five children primarily in the Milwaukee area until Bette's death in 1981. On July 8, 1989, Bob married Lorraine "Lorrie" Butcher in Menomonee Falls. The couple lived in Menomonee Falls. Lorrie preceded him in death in 2004. Bob was a member of Good Shepherd Parish in Menomonee Falls. Survivors include his five children, Mary (Jack) Melrose, Mequon; Mark (Lucy) Klocksin, Wilmette, Ill.; Mike Klocksin (Ann Ledger), Elkhorn; Margaret Mueller (Tony Curro), Greendale; and Marcia "Molly" Klocksin (Marvin Havlat), Lincoln, Neb.; three grandchildren, Katie Klocksin (Issac Csandl), Chicago, Il.; Scott Klocksin, Chicago, Il., and Michael (Mindy) Mueller, Hales Corners; sisters-in-law June Orten, Brookfield; and Shirley Haag, Ordina, Calif.; brother-in-law Walter John (Rose) Chilsen, Wausau; and former son-in-law, Jim Mueller, West Allis. He is further survived by his step-children, Mike (Bonnie) Butcher, Nekoosa; Thad (Lori) Butcher, Nashotah; Mary (Rodney) Casey, Oconomowoc; their children and grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to his wives, Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Carl F. Klocksin; other relatives and friends. Visitation on Tuesday, January 14 from 10:30AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at GOOD SHEPHERD CATHOLIC CHURCH; N88 W17658 Christman Rd., Menomonee Falls. Burial will take place on Wed., Jan. 15 at 12 Noon at St. Francis Cemetery in Merrill, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert's name to the Community Memorial Health Care Foundation are greatly appreciated.
