Age 81, our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away March 30, 2014.  Born April 18, 1932 in Greenfield, TN.  Jack was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air force.  He retired in 1991 from Oldsmobile/G.M. after 37 years of service, and was member of  U.A.W. Local #652.  He loved music and playing his guitar, and he would entertain folks a member of the Miller Road Band.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Jerlene; two daughters, Karen Lynne Thompson, and Sandra Dee  (Randal Sr.) Howard; five grandchildren, Gary (Jennifer) Spiekhout, Randal Howard, Jr.,  Jessica Lynne (Mike Maynard) Lee, Jeri Lyn Howard, and Michael J. (Saundra) Howard; five great-grandchildren, Hanna Howard, Halie Howard, Kalie Spiekhout, Emma Spiekhout, and Bryce Maynard; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Sr. & Hazel and brother, Henry Jr.

Visitation is from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday with services 1:00 p.m.  Wednesday, April 2, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, with Rev. Charles Krueger of Great Lakes Hospice officiating.   Interment Deepdale Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice in memory of Jack.  Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com.
