June...I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Joanne. She was such a kind soul & sent me a tiny gold cross necklace when she learned my cancer had come back last year. I will always treasure that and her. We all loved having her in our cancer support group & have missed her & have missed you at South. Thank you for your gracious comment in her obit of our cancer support group...I will share that with all of them. Because of Covid & my ongoing cancer treatment, I will be unable to attend the visitation as I would like to....my thoughts & prayers are with you June. Sheila Rynbrandt

My sympathies to the family in the loss of a nice lady. I worked with Joan in DNR and had many nice conversations with her especially since we are both Chamberlains. I remember when the State of Michigan first had email and I would get her emails and she would get mine. My email address was eventually changed so there would be no mix-up. We always had a laugh about that. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. God bless you.

My condolence to the family in the loss of such a nice lady. I worked with Joan in the DNR, I enjoyed our conversations, her laugh and her socks, she always wore socks reflecting a holiday or celebration.
So sorry, she will be missed.

I just don’t know where to begin, other than saying that Heaven gained the most beautiful Angel in every way possible! Words cannot express my sadness, I am being selfish! Joan fought the great fight of breast cancer, loved God, so caring and kind to her church family and plethora of friends. To June, you were her loving sister that she respected so much. YOU, June, were instrumental in introducing Joan to me; thank you! Pain is gone, mind is clear, she is re-united with your parents. Joan is gone, not forgotten
