Nancy H. Baldwin Obituary
Nancy Baldwin

On April 03, 2013 Nancy Baldwin was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Nancy was born on 01/14/1939 in Hamilton, Ohio to James and Charlotte Holcomb. Nancy had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Rachel Davidson and Mary Sue Smith are her only siblings still living.

Nancy graduated from Hamilton, Ohio High School in 1957. Nancy graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in Education. Nancy then earned a Master of Arts from Miami University in Ohio.

Nancy was blessed to be married to her husband and soul mate Colonel Larry L. Baldwin USMC (CO of MAG-14 Cherry Point, NC) for 23 years before he was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 27, 1983. Nancy had 2 sons Mark in 1972 and Peter in 1976. Peter L. Baldwin was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 31, 1993. Nancy is survived by her son Mark, her daughter in law Melissa and her 2 granddaughters Taylor and Teryn.

Nancy was a Godly woman and loved the Lord our God with all of her mind, body and spirit. Nancy was an obedient daughter, encouraging sister, supporting wife, forgiving mother, loving grandmother, respected teacher and trusted friend.

Nancy lived all over the United States and the world as the wife of a Marine Corps Attack Pilot. Nancy also lived in Seminole, FL from 1984-1998, Annandale, VA from 1998-2010, and Manitowoc, WI from 2010-2013. In 2010, Nancy officially retired as an Elementary School teacher from Kingspark Elementary School in Annandale, VA after over ten years of service.

While living in Virginia, Nancy was very active in McLean Bible Church in McLean, VA with the Prime Time Ministries and volunteer services. After moving to Manitowoc, WI Nancy became very involved in Faith Church in Manitowoc and participating in the choir, nursery and senior activities. Nancy volunteered hundreds of hours @ the Annandale, VA public library repairing books and continued her work at the Manitowoc, WI public library until her passing.

Nancy took great joy and pleasure in sharing the word of the God, fellowshipping with Christians, playing with her Granddaughters, and sharing her family history and growing up. Nancy is best known for her generous giving, gentle spirit, kind heart, wonderful laugh, unending patience, and wearing her red tennis shoes everywhere she went - symbolizing Jesus Christ's sacrifice for our sins.

Nancy was a born again Christian and proud of it. Nancy had a great sense of humor, an incredible memory and an extremely strong faith in God. If you're reading this and you do not know God as your personal Lord and Savior, please know that HE loves you, read John 3:16 and pray for HIS mercy and grace.

Two memorial services will be held for Nancy: one at Faith Church in Manitowoc, WI on Monday 04/08/13 at 6:00 pm and the second will be held at McLean Bible Church in McLean, VA on Saturday 04/20/13.
