Survivors: In addition to his parents; daughter, Danielle L. DeLong of Palmerton; son, Chad A. DeLong of New Tripoli; sister Joanne M. Daniels of Hellam; brother, Bruce L. Eck, Jr. of Tuscarora; niece, Kyra; nephew, Austin; companion, Lisa Temos with whom she resided.
Service: A private memorial service will be held at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in Schnecksville. No public calling hours. Online expessions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.

What can I say? We had 18 years together of memories, good times, bad times, crazy times. We gave birth to two beautiful angels. How do I say goodbye to you, when our kids still need you? We went through so much together. 18 years worth of stuff. We met as teenagers, grew in to parents with kids and bills. We went through the best and the worst so I can’t help but be terribly saddened by you not being with us. I will never forget one minute of our time and I will be sure that our kids will do good In life with you in their hearts always. But they are smart like both of us and seem to always do the right thing. R.I.P. Nick. You are eternally missed
