Guy B. Aldrich, 74, of Salisbury Twp., passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He and his wife, Deborah Ann (Kegg) Aldrich, celebrated their 46th anniversary. Born in New York NY, he was the son of the late Guy D. and Mary V. (Horton) Aldrich and was of the Protestant faith. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and graduate of Muhlenberg College. Employed at various local financial institutions for 38 years, Guy was a loan officer, most recently in the commercial department. He volunteered at Lehigh Valley Health Network for four years and loved gardening.

Survivors: wife; son, Brian Alan and wife, Andrea, Ellicott City MD; grandchildren, Benjamin, Abigail; sister-in-law, Becky Loupos; nephew, Michael Moyer and wife, Janel.

Services: Private. Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. (www.stephensfuneral.com)

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to veteran organization of choice.

Deb and Brian, I am experiencing two emotions. Sadness on learning of Guy’s death. And, happy feelings remembering all the good times that we shared together. First, Guy was a mentor guiding me through all those early learning years of banking. Second, we enjoyed many good times. Eight ball and Bridge marathons. Guy was excellent at Pool and was a Master at Bridge. His sense of humor was always welcome. He was very fair in his dealings with employees and customers. He will be missed. I remember long discussions of his experiences in Vietnam. His service is appreciated and should be long remembered. My condolences to both of you. If I can be of assistance, please call.

Guy was the first person assigned to teach me
installment loans. It was the start of a long friendship.
I enjoyed his humor and I am very glad to have had our
Recent Breakfast meetings and talk about our old memories.
You could always count on Guy to give you a few laughs.

My sympathy to Guy’s family. As a co- worker at three different banks, I valued his friendship and dry humor. His service to America and LVH volunteer activities speaks volumes about Guy’s character.... a loss to our community.
